SKLPC Saturday School
SKLPC Saturday School was founded in 1980 initially teaching Gujarati at the SKLP community hall in Hendon. In 1985 due to the schools great demand, two schools were established in Finchley and Kenton area. Tuition classes in Math and English were started in 1994 at Claremont High School in Kenton. This became increasingly popular with GCSE students and since then has had a continuous growth. The school was then further expanded in the Tuition classes to provide education for children between the ages, five and seven which is known as Bal-mandir. They began to provide additional classes for children with special cases such as learning difficulties and, classes in a variety of subjects based on demand. In April 1998 Culture classes were introduced with the aim to introduce and enhance culture in our community. |
